Beddington Heights is looking for 3 volunteers to help out on photo day which is Tuesday, October 20th from 8:00am to approximately 1:30pm.

Volunteers will help with handing out cards to students, writing cards for new students who don't have them and helping to make sure the kids look their best.

Volunteers will receive coupons towards their picture package.  If you are interested in helping out, please reply to this email or email Brooklyn Shill at bnshill@shaw.ca.

**Note**  Volunteers must have a current Volunteer Police Clearance that has been processed through the CBE.  Please contact the school if you are unsure if yours is active.

USE OF CASINO FUNDS 2013-2014

Thank you to everyone who helped out at our last Casino, without your help this last casino would not have been possible. It raised over $72,000!! This is a lot of money that goes directly to our children’s school experience. 

 

This list shows how we spent the 2013-2014 Casino Funds.

 

To be split for each calendar school year, depending of timing of next casino events. 

 

Our next Casino will be held in the first quarter of 2017 so please keep us in mind if you are able to help.  As you can see, it raises a lot of money for our children in our school.

October Fun Lunch!  We will need volunteers for this event; if you are able to help out during the lunch hour, please email bnshill@shaw.ca.

October 29th
Halloween Dance!  We will need volunteers for this event; if you are able to help out for a 1/2 hour to 1 hour during the dance, please email bnshill@shaw.ca.

Beddington Heights School Parent Council

The Beddington Heights Parent Council is looking for volunteers for our Casino Fundraiser taking place at Casino Calgary on Sunday, May 31st and Monday, June 1st. 

 

Working at the casino is a great way to help earn substantial funds for the school.  All funds that are earned at a casino fundraiser are used for items that directly impact the students education, including equipment and residency programs.   

 

There are 36 shifts that we need to fill for these two days and anyone can help - parents, other family members, friends.  We often have a lot of fun working at these events and it's a great way to get to know other families within the school.
