The Beddington Heights Parent Association wants to make it easy for our school community to stay informed and find out what is happening during our Parent Council and Parent Association meetings.

Compassion Policy

The BHES parent council feels compassion for all families who are involved with a personal tragedy.  If we are made aware of a family experiencing a crisis within our school community the executive will provide a card of condolence.  This card will be kept at the school, in the parent council mailbox for any family who wishes to sign.  Whoever wishes to offer support through other cards or donations are welcome to drop them off in the council mailbox.  Council will facilitate getting any offers of support to the family in a timely manner.

Beddington Heights is looking for 3 volunteers to help out on photo day which is Tuesday, October 20th from 8:00am to approximately 1:30pm.

Volunteers will help with handing out cards to students, writing cards for new students who don't have them and helping to make sure the kids look their best.

Volunteers will receive coupons towards their picture package.  If you are interested in helping out, please reply to this email or email Brooklyn Shill at bnshill@shaw.ca.

**Note**  Volunteers must have a current Volunteer Police Clearance that has been processed through the CBE.  Please contact the school if you are unsure if yours is active.

USE OF CASINO FUNDS 2013-2014

Thank you to everyone who helped out at our last Casino, without your help this last casino would not have been possible. It raised over $72,000!! This is a lot of money that goes directly to our children’s school experience. 

 

This list shows how we spent the 2013-2014 Casino Funds.

 

To be split for each calendar school year, depending of timing of next casino events. 

 

Our next Casino will be held in the first quarter of 2017 so please keep us in mind if you are able to help.  As you can see, it raises a lot of money for our children in our school.
